The premise behind this Super Street Fighter IV video is dizzy combos against Seth, which does tend to get slightly formulaic at points, but overall it’s a pretty good combovid.

SSF4 Balrog variations from 0:15, Dudley linkfest at 2:13, and Juri triple c.HP dizzy at 3:40
combos and editing by SCHeartless (aka EXCh33ky)

It really would have been nice if he had the bars set to Max Start or something if only to give context to the fact he was building a 5th meter bar for the 5-bar combo in the Ken combo at 4:17 in.
I totally agree, and hopefully he’ll take it into consideration for his next video. Personally i liked that Ken combo but didn’t feel certain enough with the meter situation to praise it.
For all we know, he could’ve tested this combo in two parts and assumed it rebuilds enough meter. That would’ve been a bad assumption in this case because the SF4 series scales mid-combo meter buildup.
So yeah, let us see it with our own eyes.
in reference to the ken combo… what he said.
also, i’m shocked that the makoto combo didnt make it into the highlights. i thought it was awesome use of her super.
Hm, maybe in a vacuum, but it was already being used that way – going all the way back to pre-release demonstrations. It’s a cool combo, but it’s really really generic nowadays.
Unfortunately there really aren’t too many people pushing the envelope with this game. It’s mostly the same recycled material over and over.
I confronted him about the 5-bar thing yesterday, and he’ll probably fix that for next time.
That’s cool. He has a lot of potential obviously, but these little things have to be worked out. It just takes time to develop more attention to detail.
