In honor of the recent Ed Ma interview, here’s a Street Fighter IV tournament match between two of SoCal’s finest – played in unusual three-out-of-five round format.

observations:
That’s got to be a heartbreaking sight at 0:16 – an entire round of work instantly wiped out! But when you’re up against an alert player who knows the game inside out, there’s no such thing as a sure victory. It’s a well-played match all around, but i particularly like the way Akuma uses the Focus Attack at 2:29 to dodge Viper’s flame kick. The dusty finish was awesome too.
