Few combo makers “own” a game the way rock2no owns King of Fighters ’95. It doesn’t even matter if you play the game – his videos are always fun to watch, with countless surprises.
highlights:
KoF95 Robert side-switching jabs at 0:27, Ralf & Clark teamwork at 2:56, command throw whiff glitches at 3:06 and 3:21, Iori touch-of-death linkfest at 4:39, Ryo dash-cancel air fireball at 5:00, Athena whiff super cancels at 5:19, Omega Rugal ridiculous reverse reflect setup at 5:50, Andy triple ghettokick combo at 6:06, and Clark side-switching jab death at 6:46
notes from the author:
This combo video is a compilation of old combos as well as some newly made ones. No fanciful editing, only combos. The video is split into 3 parts: the first part features the older and not so exciting combos. Part 2 features some bugs and other special properties and occurrences, hence named the special part, and lastly the third part contains the new and exciting combos. All the combos in the video are tested frame by frame and proven to be valid and legit.

I only can say this without shame: rock2no it’s the absolute guru of KOF 95!
I’m amazed that even his “basic and simple” combos have such a great deal of creativity in them that it’s hardly to be labeled as basic, especially for us who played 95 deeply one way or another.
While edition and music it’s certainly not the forté of this work, it certainly makes it up with the content which is quite astonishing, heavily technical and with a deep research of the engine and its properties. Unfortunately some of these works were already shown in either former collaboration CMV’s and or loose combos in his channel, but all and all it’s a great compilation of his most recent works.
Any 95 enthusiast will love this video and yes, it is absolutely legit!
Yeah i really like that O.Rugal combo at 5:50, especially because he finds a way to get another Dark Barrier in there at the end. Just a really well-constructed combo.
Ryo at 5:42 and Mai at 6:16 are both very cool too.
Making this the Vid of Week for 10.11.2010!
