Tekken Zaibatsu’s sithlord recently had the chance to interview two well-known Tekken combo makers: 538 and Deep Theater (aka YOU). Both are members of the legendary group KYSG.

sithlord: Your videos all have a concept behind them. How important is concept to you? Do you think today’s combo video creators should focus more on concept?
538: We can’t set up the goal of video without theme.
Therefore, Concept(theme) is very important.
This is only my value, so I don’t think for creators to share this.
(I even envy the creator who can make Good one without Concept)

Deep Theater: When I make, I mind these:

What’s new is most important.
…and if combined 2 new Ideas, make it wonderful.
Knowing GameSystem deeply put out new idea.[about Editting]
don’t use some similar combos in one movie.
too long prelude is boring.(if it’s PV, OK)
