Since the previous update, motoJOHNSON has uploaded two more experimental Super Street Fighter IV clips featuring Dudley – with the latest one being a tool-assisted dizzy combo against Guile. Check it out, and then don’t forget to watch the 7th one below.

notes:
Dizzying a 900-stun character is no easy task, especially without a counterhit to begin the combo. Guile isn’t the most cooperative combo dummy either, but somehow motoJOHNSON found a way.

SSF4 191-Hit Chun Li Combo by desk

He’s set a new SF4-series Chun Li combo record with 191 hits performed against Balrog. Bravo! The previous record was 181 hits against Abel in SF4.

This video is actually a couple of weeks old, but i didn’t get a chance to post it when it was initially released. Juri’s first ultra is essentially a Custom Combo activation, which instantly makes her combo flowchart quite a bit more complicated than most others in the game. It’s not surprising that people are still figuring her out, and finding new and interesting things about her.

SF4-Series Combo Challenge 1 Results by Doopliss

A month has gone by since Doopliss issued his “10%-or-less damage super” SF4-series challenge and he’s prepared a video to check off all submitted solutions in addition to filling in some blanks.

Finding valid solutions for all but four SSF4 characters was no small task, yet Doopliss managed to succeed (with Internet Assist). Click on the annotations at the beginning of the video to check out his favorite submissions, and watch the rest for the missing pieces.

It’s been exactly three months since the last Super Street Fighter IV superfreeze demo i posted here, and they’ve come a long way in terms of editing and presentation. This montage reconstructs Dee Jay’s Sobat Carnival super in slow motion.

notes:
SSF4 superfreeze generally takes up one frame of game time, but stretches it over a full second. This allows you to observe the opponent animating from one frame to the next in slow motion, displaying animations which normally don’t exist.

Dan really doesn’t have much in terms of interesting combos in the Street Fighter IV series. Almost everything worth showing was discovered within the first month. That hasn’t stopped Snoooootch from putting together this collection of combos and shenanigans though!

A couple of days ago, Snoooootch unveiled this Super Street Fighter IV combo challenge to determine who will win the unique prize of a custom hand-drawn charcoal illustration. The contest will remain open through the end of February, so give it a shot.
