Jeez, is that the worst encoded video of all time, or what? And it tells us nothing new about the actual game. Except that it needs more villains.
But what can i say? I’m a sucker for fancy intro cinematics. I remember when this was the business.
Did you try to watch the vid in HD? There’s an option for it if you view it from Gamespot’s site. The quality’s a little better.
Oh and since why did you expect it to be about gameplay? This is Episode 2; the 2nd CGI promo vid, like the first one that showed the first 10 characters in the game.
Still this vid was awesome, especially Cap stopping the chopper.
Eh, it’s an embedded streaming video. I feel like i shouldn’t have to watch it in HD or be forced to visit their website just to watch a clear version of the damn thing. You can’t even say all the “gaming” graphics are messing up a standard video player, ’cause we’re talking about a strictly gaming website.
Anyway it’s no big deal. I know i can probably find an HQ downloadable version of it elsewhere on the internet if i look hard enough. I was just surprised by how bad it looked.
And i agree, it’s fun to watch Captain America being resourceful.

Wait, since when was Tron Bonne confirmed?
Tron is the one new reveal in this trailer, but there’s no gameplay footage so we still have no idea what she actually plays like. All i know is, she better still have Servbots following her around.
Oh, I should have figured. I found it weird that they’re revealing a new character (and just one, rather than a Capcom-Marvel pair) in a trailer, usually they release the character intros first, then the new cinematics. I swear I watched this video two more times just looking for the new Marvel character I assumed they would’ve announced along with her.
Yeah, i wouldn’t be surprised if they pair her with a Marvel character when they finally get around to releasing a gameplay trailer. I’m not too sure who would fit as her rival, though.
She was placed across from Dr.Doom in MvC2 but none of those pairings made sense anyway. I’m hoping it’s someone totally obscure but it could always be someone totally generic like Rogue.
