At first Ratchet was a pretty difficult character to figure out until I realized he can jump cancel his air combos like some other characters which leads to just enough AP gain to compare with the other characters. I use his forward circle in most of the combos in the video because I was aiming for max damage. For practical use, just leave that attack out.
