There seems to be a new trend developing where people record online ranked matches and splice together combo videos from that footage. The actual combos tend to be relatively basic, or at least straightforward, but the setups are fun to watch. Here’s desk’s take on the idea.
highlights:
SSF4 El Fuerte OTG combos at 1:10, Chun Li vs Ken at 1:49, and Dan Taunt gimmicks at 2:25

I love the transitions in this video, very cool!
Yeah the editing is great and it’s very entertaining overall. And i like how the victims’ names are concealed for their protection, haha.
lolol yeah, or maybe its a JAPANESE CONSPIRACY111111
i take it desk in japanese/lives in japan
Out of curiosity, what are you basing that on?
Just imagine what the guys on the receiving end of those chunli (insert random gibberish) legs combos. i wanna see desk pull of the chun li legs loop, not the inf one, the one that goes over 99 hits w/o being infinite ;D i think that ones like a minute long combo…
Hm, i should come up with a new tag for this instead of “manually executed.”
Maybe “live performance”? Or “match performance”? How about “match footage”?
Okay, i’ve decided to go with “live performance” because it’s broad enough to be useful and because it’s flexible enough not to cause any trouble.
