Since i posted that ghetto BBCS matchvid not too long ago, here’s a much better competitive match showcasing actual high-level BlazBlue Continuum Shift tournament play.
players: Zenmetsu (Litchi) vs Mike Z (Tager)
observations:
Apparently Litchi is one of Tager’s worst matchups and the video makes it pretty obvious why that’s the case. But somehow Mike Z is able to avoid Litchi’s obstacle course and find ways to land those command grabs on the constantly moving Zenmetsu. The commentators explain what’s going on most of the time, and it’s a pretty exciting match from beginning to end.

Wow. That was great announcing I think. This is coming from someone who cannot play any character in BB whatsoever. Is that the proper channel to subscribe to on Youtube?
Um, that’s a good question. It certainly looks legit judging by the description, but then again i don’t know the person who runs it so i can’t say for sure. Anyway i didn’t notice anything inappropriate when i skimmed through.
Yeah, if you want consistently good BB matches, the BBvlog is excellent. Quite a few of them are “random” online matches without commentary though (still good matches). But I think the BBVlog is responsible for uploading matches from the Norcal Installs whenever they happen (Monthly? Bimonthly? something like that) which are always hype and with great commentary.
I personally like the commentary for the NorCal Install event this match is from.
This is one of my fav. Mike Z matches to boot X3
For those that don’t know- In the 3rd match, Mike Z finished the match with an Astral. Astrals can only performed when your opponent’s health is under 30%-35% and uses up the entire bar. Of course there are a lot better alternatives than using Astrals, but they’re mostly there for showing off and fun really. Tager’s Astral in CS is 1080+D BTW
Oh and I forgot to mention that there are 2 other requirements for Astral’s but decided to give a quick description of how to do them.
