New KoF game, new K’ combo video straight up!! KoF XIV is now upon us and its got heaps of hype during and post release for many reasons, but combos wasn’t really one of them. SNK went the route of “easier combo system” thus making combo ideas fairly limited. No more cancelling special moves into another or super dazzling execution combos, just pure damage!

K’ has some new tricks and lost a few. Without getting into too much detail, missing his air qcb+B/D (which was an anywhere juggle move) lost his ability to continue combos after DM’s or adding air attacks. K’ does has some flashy stuff in this game and damage is on his side.

Street Fighter V Chun Li CMV Blue Jade Edition by Dark Chaotix

The Street Fighter V combo vids are still coming and for my next one, I did the Blue Jade, Chun Li! Her damage output isn’t very high to begin with because of the scaling to multi hitting moves. That said, she does have decent BnB combos which knockdown and leave her in a good positions. She also has some hard links (SBK after sMP or fireball after sMP for example) and mastering them will help in VS mode.

Fun character but too bad they took out a few things from early beta test.

Street Fighter V Nash CMV Paradoxical Avenger Edition by Dark Chaotix

My first entry into a Street Fighter V combo vid, and my first character is Nash! I can understand what Capcom were trying to do with the combo system, in making it easier and simpler but it has in turn made combos fairly limited with not alot of variety. That said, it was fun and enjoyable to make this vid and hopefully I can make a few more.

KoFXIII Leona Heidern CMV Silent Edition by Dark Chaotix

I always wish Leona had her rdp+B/D ( Heart Attack ) move and her Orochi change in KoF XIII to spice things up in the combo division, but unfortunately she doesn’t and she felt kinda linear. Doing this vid, had to spark some creation while also trying to get 100% still, and I am happy with the end result. She is quite damaging with a few meter bars, at the expense of not being so easy to use considering she is a charge character.

KoFXIII Raiden CMV Out of Control Edition by Dark Chaotix

Love to see quick health draining combos? Do you love shoulder charges? Do you love drop kicks? If said “yes” to any of those questions, then today you are in for a treat as I have finally finished my Raiden combo vid! It has been just over a year since my last combo vid ( Billy Kane ), so this has been long over due.

I started this vid just after Billy but lots of things got in the way and I pretty much forgot about the project. I recently picked it back up after a bit of pressure from a few people to complete it, so thanks for the motivation.

This vid does feature alot of drop kicks, so be warned. In saying that, I’m hoping what I have done is entertaining for your viewing pleasure.

KoFXIII Billy Kane CMV Outlaw Edition by Dark Chaotix

It’s been awhile since my last CMV, but today I bring you my Billy Kane : Outlaw Edition. He has a few nifty things you can do that allows for combo extensions, but unfortunately Billy is mainly a corner combo character so most of his combos either lead to or are in the corner. Outside the corner, combos are very limited, even with meter.

Billy can cancel his qcb+A/C into another by mashing A/C for free, and this also works after say b+A which normal you can’t cancel from. Getting the right height and spacing for Billy’s DM is the hardest part.

KoFXIII Saiki CMV Time Lord Edition by Dark Chaotix

For my last vid of the year, it features “The ruler of time” Saiki.

Was kinda fun to muck around with him but is fairly limited outside of the corner. Once in the corner, he has some tools that make him fun to experiment with and his air b+B is one of them. I wondered why I didn’t see too much of this move being used in combos, but its difficulty to string a few in a row quickly became apparent.

It’s been just over 2 weeks and I’m ready to release my next character vid as I tackled (pun intended) Terry Bogard. He is fairly limited in his moveset so naturally he won’t have too much to cancel into or out of. Thankfully, his DM’s / SDM allow for combo extensions if certain hits are whiffed and positioned right. Hopefully you will find this vid entertaining as he was fairly fun to muck around with.

KoFXIII Mai Shiranui CMV Bouncy Edition by Dark Chaotix

Fresh off my Takuma vid, I jumped right into the fray with the ninja hotness Mai Shiranui. I couldn’t help with the title name, but I thought it was appropriate. In order to get the most of her, timing and spacing is required and it can be a frustrating task getting them all in one combo. ’12’ is the magic number of hits with her SDM, I’ll say that much. Onto the next character!

KoFXIII Takuma CMV Master Edition by Dark Chaotix

It has been awhile since my last CMV release, but I’m back with the Kyokugenryu Karate Master Takuma! He dishes out a lot of damage early and has options to continue his combo with his fbf+A/C and hcb+B/D moves. The “fun” starts with his 1f cA link after a qcf+D fireball to extend his combos and damage. What he lacks in defensive options, he makes up with power and you will see this through his 100% combos.
