Street Fighter: Real Battle On Film was the Sega Saturn / Sony PlayStation console version of Street Fighter The Movie, but it was completely different from the “anything goes!” arcade game. In fact, the home version’s gameplay was essentially a remake of Super Street Fighter II Turbo, with the addition of EX specials and relatively minor modifications to familiar attacks. This video does a great job of illustrating (and exploiting) those changes for our edutainment.
highlights:
SFRBoF Sawada vaguely offensive / extremely ghetto combo at 0:31, Balrog crazy midscreen juggles at 1:22, Ryu EX Hurricane Kick juggles at 1:37, Zangief air fireball reflect at 2:24, and Akuma doing whatever he wants from 3:07 onward

Surely I’m not the only one who mistook the “5” for an “S” at 1:02? XD
I didn’t know this was more similar to ST than the arcade game, good to know I guess. Some really clever set-ups in there I must say.
Great vid! Cool setups and combos. Kinda makes you want that kinda stuff to be possible in ST.
Very interesting. I’ll bet if this was released with animated sprites instead of digitized sprites people might have given this a chance.
