It’s almost the end of the year and Izumojin is back with another video! It’s another compilation video featuring all the old-school versus games. To make up for his absence this year, he put together a whopping 15-minute video filled with glitches and combos!

0:33 – XvSF: Chun-Li switching sides a million times versus Juggernaut. 1:06 – CotA: Elaborate Spiral combo with a crazy set up and tons of knives. 2:43 – MSH: Magneto triple Infinity Counter combo versus Anita. 12:05 – MvSF: Shuma-Gorath combo’ing Blackheart across the entire screen. 12:57 – MvC: Strider Hiryu using all sorts of mechanics to combo Hulk.

Ready for another dose of Marvel vs Capcom insanity from izumojin? This installment concentrates more on the Capcom side of the cast, with a little more structur in its approach. Obviously some of these clips aren’t actual combos, but it’s fun to watch him exploit the combo counter regardless.

Marvel vs Capcom was probably the glitchiest and most unruly installment of the Versus Series, and izumojin takes full advantage of that knowledge. Almost every combo in this video is aided by a shadow double agent on the opponent’s team. Chaos ensues.

MvC1 has an elaborate glitch which allows two teammates to remain on the screen at the same time, sort of like a sustained Variable Cross duo. Blazt The Speakerz and CSVagrant have already released two combovids showcasing this concept. With the third one on the way, they’ve just re-uploaded the second installment in high quality.

notes:
Both characters on the same team are linked to one controller, so the biggest challenge to these types of combos is making sure the characters don’t get in each other’s way. It takes a ton of planning to make something like this work. That’s where emulator features like save states come in handy, so you don’t have to start from the beginning every time you want to test a different finishing sequence.
