He’s not canceling supers. Wolverine’s and Cap’s supers just stop working when something else hits the opponent after they connect. He uses Reality gem junk to make that happen.

I’d kill for some transcripts on these, hah. The Reality Gem stuff would be murder on the hands, considering you need to press the start button to launch the pumpkins/Yasichi(sp?). You can even get random crap like Chun Li’s wrist bracers that stuns in 1 hit.
